Overview
Varicocele in men is a condition characterized by the enlargement of veins within the scrotum, the pouch of skin that holds the testicles. These veins become swollen and dilated, similar to varicose veins that occur in the legs. Varicoceles are relatively common, affecting about 10-15% of men.
