Low Testosterone (Male Hypogonadism)

Overview

Testosterone naturally declines with age, but pathologically low levels can affect mental, physical, and sexual health.

Causes

  • Aging
  • Testicular injury or surgery
  • Pituitary gland dysfunction
  • Obesity, metabolic syndrome
  • Alcohol, anabolic steroid misuse

Symptoms
